HOW DID THIS HAPPEN: THE STORY OF STUDIO PETERKA

After ten years working at architecture firms in Atlanta, I now call State College, PA home where my wife, Emily, is a faculty member at Penn State. Upon moving north I began a State College based architectural practice and teaching at Penn State. At approximately the same time, some fellow architect friends began Local Architects, a firm of their own back in Atlanta. Wanting to keep in touch and continue working together, we look for projects in which both firms can help to support the mission and workflow of the other.

This effort allows me to bring a diverse portfolio of architectural services, knowledge, and skill sets to central PA: from independent breweries, craft distilleries, and local restaurants to residential, live/work, and multifamily. All while providing you the one-on-one service you should expect from a local business.

I look forward to working with you,

-Brian Peterka, Registered Architect
